About Me

Hello! I'm born and raised in San Francisco Bay Area, and a proud UC Berkeley graduate (Go Bears!). I love anything beautiful AND useful, and that's how I got sucked into design.

After teaching myself web design, I joined a design agency where I designed for different startups and non-profits like Tor. Now I help brands and businesses with web and app design, UI/UX design, branding, and print. I love it! If you are looking to launch a website, build an MVP, improve user experience, or boost conversions, then I may just be what you’re looking for.

Outside of work, I enjoy the expensive sport of diving - it comes with tanks, sea animals and quite a bit of out of this world adventure. Click the below link to donate to my diving adventures...jk

There's More

Who do I work with?

My clients are start-ups, small businesses, and design agencies. They range from beauty, health, non-profits, education, social, and food & beverage.

Why work with a freelancer?

You'll be getting someone with specialized skills in the most cost effective way possible. The entire cost goes to my time spent on your project. We also get to form a strong working relationship - I will always be your main contact through every step of the way.

What's my rate?

My current rate is $75/hr for one time projects, and $65 for ongoing support. I like to keep my prices public so that you know exactly what you're getting. I believe that hiring a designer should have the same experience as anything else you find valuable - the cost should be upfront. There's no added fees and no fancy office so the fees you pay are for my time spent on your project, not for additional overheads.

Rush Projects  - an additional 50% fee. Rush projects include any work that needs to be done overnight, on weekends, or holidays.

Working remotely.

I've worked remotely ever since I started design. Some clients feel uneasy at first, but eventually their worries subside. In office or not, the number one thing you must always have is crystal clear communication, and I've learned to do that very well.

Why I design.

A few years ago, I was volunteering at an absolutely amazing organization in Africa. After being completely inspired to motivate others, I realized that their donation page and branding were poorly executed. It's solving problems like these that I find very empowering. Alternatively,  it's knowing you've helped people gain access to the best products or were able to ramp up their business through your designs. Design isn't about making things look pretty, it's deeper than that. It's about solving problems that affect people.

Looking for an affordable way to build a site?

Sometimes I work with non-profits who are on a tight budget, and I completely understand. That's when I suggest using a template such as WIX in order to get the company up and running. And that's something I happily can walk you through!
